Job Overview
Raycap, Inc., a leading developer of innovative surge protection, connectivity and monitoring solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Production Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a perpetual inventory record of material, equipment, supplies and stock items as well as completing procedures related to receiving and maintaining records of equipment, materials and/or supplies in a manufacturing environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Track delivery of supplies and equipment where needed
- Identify raw material and component requirements for productions from engineering
- Maintain the bills of material per engineering in the inventory database
- Responsible for quality as related to job duties, with authority to address issues of quality at any level
- Participate in the physical inventory process
- Investigate shipping and inventory errors
- Create and compile orders on a daily basis
- Maintain department records regarding product test results, sales order reports, organize and file shipping, receiving and production reports
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Warehouse Inventory / Supply Chain Experience
- Familiarity with SAP Production Planning and Control
- Attention to detail and proficiency with internal computer systems SAP and
- Proficient in MS Office
