Position Title: Receiving Associate Part Time
Exempt Status: Non Exempt
Accountable To: Receiving Supervisor
Job Summary: The receiving associate is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate receipt of all product coming into the distribution center. They are also responsible for the put away process of all received goods in specified areas of the DC. Receiving associates unload and receive product. They verify all goods to ensure they match the purchase order. Receiving associates document counts and dates of all product on the PO/BOL for each load received. They are also responsible for placing received goods in secondary locations of the DC by utilizing RF devices. Individuals in this role should be extremely detail oriented and possess basic math skills. As a Receiving Associate, you need to have strong communication and organizational skills. You must be able to use computer software and be able to meet the physical requirements of the job such as bending, lifting heavy objects, and operating powered industrial trucks.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Verifies case quantities, date requirements, descriptions, and product codes match the purchase order for inbound trucks.
- Verifies product integrity, temperature, labeling, and separates material on appropriate skids.
- Follows all food safety and defense procedures including all inbound load paperwork
- Completes paperwork and tracking documentation as required.
- Assures product is put into correct storage locations with the oldest available for next use.
- Operates power equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
- Follows all safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of themselves and their coworkers
- Ensure all warehouse sanitation standards are met
- Ensures warehouse goals are met
- Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
- Operates scanners to stock and replenish product
- Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

- Previous experience working in a distribution center preferred
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience working with WMS (warehouse management systems) preferred
