REQUIREMENTS

  • Must meet the qualifications for a lead teacher defined under DCFS requirements.
  • Customer service/sales experience.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, creative reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Willing and able to pursue additional education.
  • Experience working in early childhood education is a plus but NOT required.
  • Current First-Aid and CPR certification.
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Be able to read, write, and understand English.

JOB SUMMARY

As the Family engagement specialist for Rayito de Sol, you are the key team member to ensure that enrollment is on target. You will partner with families to strengthen their support networks with other parents and community members. You will develop relationships with community agencies and businesses to drive enrollments. You will be part of a team sharing best practices, collaborating, and reporting to the Center Director and the Vice President of Operations if needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (not all-inclusive)

  • Responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of families into the program.
  • Convert leads to tours at a minimum of 50%
  • Conduct tours for prospective families and convert tours to enrollments at least at 45%
  • Assist parents with understanding the enrollment forms.
  • Ensures enrollment documentation is completed and maintained in accordance with the program guidelines and passes the completed enrollment package to the center director for the creation of the children’s file.
  • Create new children’s profile in Procare and assist the center director with other processes through this platform if necessary.
  • Promote family involvement and participation in center-based activities, and other program events and assist in the planning and implementation of family events.
  • Manage the HubSpot platform and keep last activity for each contact updated.
  • Monitor and manage the calendar for upcoming tours, open houses, or other scheduled events.
  • Answers all emails with questions related to enrollment.

  • Develop and maintain meaningful, productive relationships with families.
  • Coordinate with community agencies to facilitate integrated services to support families in their enrollment process.
  • Develop relationships with community agencies and businesses to drive enrollments.
  • Provide leadership, by example, establishing and maintaining quality work standards.
  • Ensures the safety, health, and well-being of the children at all times.
  • Abiding by all licensing regulations and program policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to relate to and communicate with people of varying multi-ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
