Job Description

Responsibilities: Monitor specific aspects of a product life cycle, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Perform analyses on specific aspects to stay abreast of trends in the marketplace and ensure the product's competitive position. Investigate questions relating to existing programs, processes, and procedures. Support the development of new products and services by executing different responsibilities in the development plan. Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports. Solve known problems and/or deliver defined outcomes by performing designated development/engineering activities using existing systems. Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products. Support data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for product/service improvement. Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities. Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate. Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols. Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies. Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on using research and analysis to develop a comprehensive understanding of market conditions in order to facilitate the success of a brand, product or service. Uses an understanding of numerical concepts to perform mathematical operations such as report analysis without supervision and provides technical guidance when required. Works without supervision while providing technical guidance when required on managing projects and/or programs within desired cost, time and quality parameters. Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on reviewing and creating relevant, lucid and effective reports. Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing, monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives. Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on achieving full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations. Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on interpreting and applying knowledge of laws, regulations and policies in area of expertise.
