Job Summary
Under limited supervision, the Training & Development Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our early career professionals. The manager will influence strategic direction, develop plans, and complete complex assignments to support participant development. Additional responsibilities include project management, content selection, course material development and process improvements.
Working in a highly collaborative environment, the manager will ensure all trainings are aligned with business unit and firm wide learning priorities, through measurement of the effectiveness of the programs. The early careers development team is responsible for the successful onboarding, performance and retention of new associates through a robust induction experience and providing development and engagement throughout their 1-24 months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides input on the strategic direction of Early Careers development initiatives to meet individual and organizational learning needs
Design, develop, assess and recommend development sessions, processes, tools and resources that align to the skill competency model
Prepares and delivers written and verbal presentations and proposals to management
Collaborates and builds positive relationships with stakeholders, including Early Careers recruiting, HR Business Partners, Talent Consultants, Learning & Development, LMS administrators, and Business Unit training groups
Conducts pre-program capability assessments to identify skill level
Creates effective and engaging course materials, including workbooks and presentations for e-learning modules and live/virtual sessions
Assess the impact and effectiveness of sessions to demonstrate success metrics, communicate results and recommendations for continuous improvement and consistency
Facilitate and deliver virtual and in-person development sessions
Assess the effectiveness of training sessions through evaluations, surveys, and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement and consistency
Manage the training program within timelines and budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
Perform external research and benchmarking on learning trends, priorities, and initiatives
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education/Previous Experience
A Bachelor's Degree and six (6) years of experience in designing and managing development programs and/or talent management processes
