Job Description
This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following office locations: St. Petersburg, FL;
Responsibilities:
In this role, the Manager will support systems and solutions in Financial Crimes Monitoring and Anti-Money Laundering space.
Lead the development and implementation of strategy for an important area of responsibility within a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider functional strategy.
Create/manage architecture storyboards/viewpoints that articulate business requirements.
Drive advances in technologies and architectures to increase the value delivered by technology and digital capabilities, either through improvements to the efficiency of the technology environment or through those that reduce the total cost of technology operations.
Recommend and participate in activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of the digital capabilities within the enterprise architecture.
Design and select business-critical storage, data center, and client/server environments to design solutions in line with industry best practice and provide a third-line point of escalation for appropriate global infrastructure solutions.
Develop existing and new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Develop new applications to meet customer requirements.
Manage key aspects of the data management system. This includes being responsible for developing or operating key elements of the system.
Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
Develop and/or deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues.
Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these and to do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions, including continuing professional development specified by professional or regulatory institutions, to build their professional capabilities. Provide informal training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team/personal objectives.
Participate in the selection of external consultants or advisers to deliver key projects and/or ad hoc services; ensure that business objectives and requirements are clearly understood and monitor outcomes, taking appropriate remedial action where necessary.
Skills:
Financial Services experience highly preferred.
Experience in the following: project management, enterprise implementation, leadership experience, strategic planning, business acumen, application development.
Experience with .NET technologies such as .NET Core, .NET Framework preferred ANd/OR Java tech stack preferred.
Nice to have Front-end framework (Angular, React, Node.js).
Nice to have Cloud (AWS, Google, Azure), and CI/CD toolsets (Jenkins, GIT, Azure DevOps)
8-10 years of experience in the software development life cycle including product definition, design, development, testing, and implementation.
3-4 years of experience leading development teams.
