Warehouse delivery

Raymond Plumbing & Heating located in Lorain, OH is looking to add a full-time Warehouse Delivery Associate to our growing team.

Family owned and operated since 1957! We have provided the Cleveland, Lorain and Sandusky areas with reliable and convenient plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services.

Responsibilities :

• Operates and drives trucks to transport materials to and from job sites.
• Plans or adjusts routes based on changing conditions using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS), and other navigation equipment.
• Follows appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous / hazardous goods and obeys traffic laws.
• Reports any important issues such as vehicle damage, defective equipment, and traffic violations immediately.
• Performs vehicle pre and post inspections; ensures loads are secure and ensures mechanical equipment items are in good working order.
• Drives and operates forklift machines and equipment to raise, move, and secure large products.
• Carries packages including Furnaces, AC units, and other HVAC and Plumbing Materials or equipment.
• Assists with the arrangement of inventory within the warehouse and assures specific requirements for inventory are met.
• Assists in managing the order and cleanliness of the facility including debris and scrap removal for recycling; maintains scrap bins.
• Assists in picking and order filling of inventory for shipping and puts away all inventory received.
• Follows workplace health and safety requirements; suggests and / or completes projects to assure a clean and safe facility.
• Returns unneeded or excess materials to suppliers and turns in appropriate paperwork.
• Produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.

Qualifications :

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of driving experience required.

In 1957, Wayne Raymond started Raymond Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning to provide quality service to his customers in Northeast Ohio.

He knew the value of quality workmanship and saving people money. His tradition has been handed down to a second generation of Raymond family members who continue to bring home comfort to your community.

Their oldest son, Keith, returned to Lorain and rejoined the family business in 1979. After his father’s death in 1986, and along with his siblings Shelly & Brian, they continued to grow the business.

They carried on the values that were instilled in them. In January 2023, Raymond Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning changed hands with new owner Mike Sherrill, a longtime work associate of Raymond’s.

Mike has continued to carry on the company’s legacy of hard work and quality workmanship. We continue to provide residential and commercial HVAC service along with top plumbing services to the surrounding communities of Lorain, Sandusky, and Cleveland.
