Description
The Senior User Experience Designer is charged with developing compelling, intuitive, and simple user experiences for RaymourFlanigan.com. This person is responsible for crafting and testing user experiences across multiple platforms. The Senior User Experience Designer is accountable for knowing current trends and the best practices for guiding users from point A to point B. This role is primarily responsible for creating key UXD deliverables such as wireframes, site-maps, website metrics analysis, and testing designs and experiences with our target audiences.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Boost overall shopping user experience and deliver effective solutions to achieve customer satisfaction of their digital experience.
- Grow our user research capabilities to ensure that we have the knowledge we need to make informed product UI / UX design decisions.
- Employ quantitative and qualitative methods including usability testing for design explorations and collecting and analyzing user feedback that supports the product team.
- Leverage customer insights and behavior to drive user experience strategy.
- Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from UX designers and researchers.
- Analyze how customers interact with the Raymour Flanigan brand and make strategic recommendations to achieve the objectives set forth for each project.
- Collaborate with design, engineers, and product managers to find solutions that improve user experience and translate high-level ideas into practical solutions for development.
- Elevate and oversee the design process. Contribute to the overall digital design system and expand the brand standards and component library for the ecommerce platform.
- Record, monitor, and report on team project status and department KPIs amongst goals and objectives.
- Anticipate evolving customer needs and how the organization can address them with current or new products / services.
