What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Associate position at Raymour & Flanigan?

Key Responsibilities
- Unload case goods, bedding, and upholstered furniture using a two-wheel hand cart and second-person assistance when needed.
- Stage and load/unload products for shipping or storage in the warehouse.
- Operate mobile lift equipment to bin product and place incoming product into warehouse racks.
- Pick-up breakage, miscellaneous wood, plastic, and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Safely operate all required equipment.
Physical Demands
- Maintain the ability to move extremities and the spine through a functional range of motion to safely maneuver product from floor to overhead while material handling.
- Demonstrate sufficient strength in the trunk and extremities to perform tasks in multiple positions from the floor to overhead while material handling.
- Extend hands and arms in any direction while material handling.
- Pinch and work primarily with fingers throughout the workday.
The Distribution Warehouse Associate meets the minimal physical demands consistent with a classification of Very-HEAVY. The associate is exposed to slip and trip hazards, including pallets on the floor, wet weather, cold/hot temperatures on the loading dock, and out in the yard.
