Develops and reviews budgets, cost estimates, pricing schedules and other cost control support for construction of Solar & BESS projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares budget estimates for capital projects to aid in the development of the Company’s multi-year capital plan by working with asset management group.
- Reviews and understands detailed design drawings to perform material take-offs and analyze construction sequencing.
- Performs cost analyses and prepares detailed variance analyses to support the appropriation request and project change notice process.
- Participates with the project team in scoping projects for engineering, construction, and contractual requirements.
- Maintains historical and material cost databases and application tools to aid future estimates and pricing schedules.
- Prepares engineering cost and project update reports as required.
- Monitors and enforces all compliance requirements for area of responsibility.
- Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes, and regulations applicable to position and company.
