Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to enhance their quality of life. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be essential in fostering positive behavioral changes and promoting skill development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and needs of clients.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Collect and analyze research data to monitor progress and effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide direct support to clients, facilitating skill acquisition in various settings.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to behavioral therapy.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst is required.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of special education practices and behavioral therapy techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards and procedures is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills for effective research data collection and evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
