The Space, Command & Control (S&C2) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) within Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) has an exciting opportunity in Financial Planning and Analysis for an NBI analyst. Reporting to the S&C2 FP&A investments manager, the analyst will interface directly with the front end of the business executive team, supporting analytical needs. This will give the candidate broad insight into new business investments, opportunity pipeline, and diverse technologies with links to the greater investment plan and provide exposure to senior levels of S&C2 leadership. The ideal candidate is a financial career-focused team member performing hands-on financial analysis and working with Requirements & Capabilities (R&C) staff daily. This team member will complement the rest of the S&C2 FP&A organization. Duties include Budget Planning and Implementation of New Business Resources, Administering Charge Numbers, and Reporting. The position will also support development of Business Cases as appropriate to support Annual Operating Plans and Long Range Planning. The analyst may be called upon to support other ad hoc analysis, including overheads, capital, IR&D, budgeting, rates, and forecasting. As member of the SC2 FP&A team, the candidate will have broad exposure to the financial status SC2 Strategic Business Unit.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of Finance experience ability to work in small team environment and meet deadlines, working collaboratively within the finance organization, and across the S&C2 portfolio across functions.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent MS Excel skills, including automation, pivot tables, looks ups, data visualization, and general analysis and reporting - ability to communicate information concisely and meaningfully.
- Accuracy and Integrity.
- Experience working with financial templates. Experience creating project structures and pulling data from SAP (APEX), SAP (PRISM), and Analysis for Office.
Desired Skills:
- EVMS and other "adjacent" skills (to FP&A), RPlan experience, Enterprise Raytheon Pipeline Manager (ERPM), Proposal experience.
Required Education:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
