The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Team:
The Global Process Owner for the Payroll Domain is responsible for driving alignment and integration. This position requires shared services expertise in Global Payroll with a strong focus on systems thinking, transformational leadership, and automation, while providing expertise on best practices and industry trends.
What You Will Do
- Strategy & Vision: Design and develop a long-term strategy aligned with industry best practices as well as industry organizations to ensure our processes, tools, policies are aligned to industry standards.
- Best Practices: Aligned with industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to maintain and drive a world-class operation.
- Innovation: Identify opportunities (leveraging GenAI, automation and other technologies) to enhance efficiency, reduce processing time & costs, ensure compliance controls, and improve employee experience.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with global, regional, and local regulations, managing risks and mitigating potential issues.
- Operational Excellence: In partnership with the CORE organization, optimize operations across all regions, ensuring timely and accurate operations for a diverse global workforce.
- Leadership: This role is an individual contributor, but this leader will influence service line leaders as well as develop credibility with stakeholders on proposed new ways or working to challenge the status quo.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including functional areas such as HR, Finance, IT, Supply Chain and external vendors, to ensure seamless operations and integration with other business processes.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to provide insights and reporting on operational performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or another related field and a minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in shared services, consulting, expertise in domain area with at least 7 years in a global leadership role within a large, complex organization.
- Technical Expertise: Experience demonstrating expertise in the end-to-end global processes, Six Sigma, or other lean manufacturing and high level of understanding of general business operations and internal control concepts; ability to assess and contribute to effectiveness of a business process / system change.
- Project Management: Strong project management experience/skills, with a track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Transformation Orientation: Demonstrated experience in driving transformation and automation initiatives, with a focus on best practices and future trends.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

- Leadership Skills: Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, change management and collaboration skills. Work well under pressure, taking proactive measures against possible challenges, and resolving issues quickly, managing crises rapidly and effectively when necessary.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- A Master's degree is highly desirable.
