Job Summary:
We are looking for a Simulation Lead for a program on the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Product line.
This is an On-Site Role
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- You will manage a Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MSA) team of approximately 15 engineers
- You will be the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for all control accounts
- You will create strategy and execution plans to meet the contractual scope for MSA
- You will measure, track, and maintain the execution strategy by managing Simulation and Performance
- You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for execution
- You will coordinate staffing and engineer performance
- You will curate team backlog for MSA (keeping work in scope)
- You will forecast delivery of key product milestones to meet schedule milestones
- You will ensure Raytheon best practices are applied for development of Simulations
Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and eight (8) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:
- Experience managing Professional engineers
- Experience presenting results to customers
- Experience applying Earned Value Metrics
- Experience using Verification & Validation for MSA development
- Experience integrating simulations into real-time test environments
- Experience developing and debugging C applications and models
- Experience using Python or Matlab
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:

- Experience with hardware/software integration

Previous management experience in the following:
- Developing and mentoring new employees
- Communicating with different levels of employees, departments, and/or customers
- Team building
- Experience and knowledge of the SMD product line
- Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
- HLA Type interface knowledge such as with Common System Test Bed (CSTB)
- Working with other disciplines such as Guidance, Navigation, Controls (GNC) and Signal Processing (SP) and Software (SW)
