What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Transportation Driver Substance Abuse position at Rayville Recovery?
Our agency is looking for a reliable Transportation Driver to pick up and transport clients struggling with primary Substance Abuse and secondary Mental Health disorders in a professional and considerate manner. Quality client care is absolutely essential and is expected from each employee.
You will work as a member of the Admissions Team and coordinate daily transportation schedules to pick up clients throughout the state that are seeking Admission to treatment.
I. Minimum Requirement
A. Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
B. Must be able to pass an LDH-approved background check.
C. Must possess a valid Drivers’ License. (Chauffeur’s License preferred)
D. Have demonstrated competency in safe driving and defensive driving.
E. Be extremely personable, motivated, high-energy and maintain professionalism.
II. Primary Duties
A. Reports directly to the Admissions Director.
B. Collaborates with Admissions Director and Admissions Coordinators to set daily transportation schedule.
C. Ensures that a Maintenance and Mileage/Trip log is maintained for each vehicle.
D. Ensures that each vehicle is kept clean and receives necessary maintenance.
E. Ensures that each client that is transported is made to feel safe and welcome.
F. Identifies problems related to the quality of client care and refers them directly to the Admissions Director.
G. Does diverse tasks as requested by Admissions Director and Administrator.
H. Adhere to personnel policies.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
