Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Hand Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized therapy to patients with hand and upper extremity injuries, using a variety of techniques and modalities to promote healing and recovery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' hand and upper extremity function
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and modalities to improve range of motion, strength, and function
- Educate patients on proper ergonomics and home exercises
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and maximize outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hand therapy
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
