Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals who have physical, mental, developmental, or emotional disabilities to help them develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Help patients perform daily tasks and activities to improve their motor skills and coordination
- Work with patients to improve their fine motor and gross motor skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on how to use adaptive equipment and perform activities of daily living
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion and empathy for patients with disabilities
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
