Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain after injuries or illnesses. You will assess patient conditions, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic exercises to improve strength and mobility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conducting initial evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
2. Developing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
3. Implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient movement and function.
4. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
5. Educating patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care.
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
7. Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Qualifications:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
2. Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to assess and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress.
6. Experience working with a diverse patient population.
