Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide hands-on care to patients, helping them recover from injuries and surgeries and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home exercise programs
- Monitor and document patient progress during treatment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Valid state licensure or certification
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
