Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Marshall,Texas
Job Responsibilities:
Provide rehabilitation services and skilled maintenance services to patients with mental, physical, psychosocial, or developmental impairments under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist
Help patients regain mobility, strength, and range of motion
Record patient progress and daily notes in accordance with federal, state, and insurance guidelines
Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Keep therapy equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs as needed
Adhere to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements to protect the practice of physical therapy
Requirements:
Active Texas PTA license and verification of license required
CPR certification (fundamental facilities) preferred
Negative drug screen results
Ability to pass all required background checks and credentialing checks
Covid test 72 hours prior to start date with results issued 48 hours prior to start date
Schedule:
Full-time, contract position
8-hour shifts
