Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The Respiratory Therapist will work with patients to provide hands-on care and treatment for a variety of respiratory conditions. They will assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress to ensure optimal respiratory function.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients' respiratory health and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current on advancements in respiratory therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- State licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
