Overview
The Client Service Lead is a visionary who shares the client’s bold ambition to unite science, technology, and talent to get ahead of diseases. This position will be part of the Publicis’ leadership team for this client including: the Global Client Leader (GCL), Global Business Strategy Lead, Performance Measurement Lead, Operations Lead and Finance Lead. The initial focus will be leading the very large therapeutic business unit in the US, then expanding to global. They will set the business vision across the therapeutic area and navigate across teams/agencies both inside and outside Publicis. This role needs to help the client prioritize brand investments in order to drive their overall stock performance. The role sits “above” agencies, but the role is responsible for working with the agency leaders to build annual plans that reflect the client’s vision. The position reports to the Global Client Leader.

Compensation Range: $240,000 - $325,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Responsibilities
- Partner with Publicis Global Client Leader and Executive Leadership at the client to set the marketing/sales vision and strategies across divisions with 12-month focus.
- Work with performance measurement team at Sapient and Publicis Media to set KPIs and optimize plans in real time to ensure KPIs are met.
- Implement a new go-to-market model piloted by the therapeutic area lead at the client and apply across all divisions to drive growth and stay ahead of competition.
- Translate TA overall business plan to the annual brand strategy and operational plans led by the agencies.
- Demonstrate an equal appreciation for brand building and performance marketing.
- Contribute to development of a new Agency model within Publicis that connects agency teams across the creative, media, data, business transformation team with a single goal to drive business forward.
- Encourage clients to explore new ways of engaging customers with a focus on retail programs and health systems innovations. What led to the initial business success won’t deliver future success. The playbook must change.
- Work with data partners to ask the right questions that uncover insights to fuel creative ideas.
- Create impactful work that drives connections between health care professionals, consumers, and pharmacists.
- Build high-performing diverse teams.
- Consistently challenge our clients with an “outside in” approach to marketing - testing marketing innovations and applying cultural fluency from outside of pharma.
- Be a champion of Publicis Groupe’s philosophy “Power of One” - a borderless approach to bringing talent from across the globe to bear for our client regardless of P&L or home agency.
- Accomplished in the industry, with at least 15 years’ experience
- Must be versed in modern marketing e.g., performance marketing approach where each tactic/investment is measured against time gated KPIs.
- Ideally has spent time working in or closely with media agency.
- Intimate understanding of CRM.
- Experience shifting from one size fits all creative campaign to modular content, automating personalized messages per patient and HCP audiences.
- Diverse experience: Pharma, OTC, B2B, Retail, and Tech.
- Understanding and love of HCP marketing.
- Potential experience: Sr. leadership role at an agency overseeing a single client experience at consulting company or media company a plus
- Global experience preferred: an understanding of cultural differences across EU5, US, Japan, and China.
- Baseline understanding of health systems, EHR, insurance landscape.
