Overview
The Social Content & Engagement Strategist is responsible for contributing to the creation of social campaigns, as well as the planning and managing of social media content and marketing strategy and paid campaigns. The strategist will develop and execute advanced social content publishing, monitoring and reporting tactics, and the flow of content and cross-channel distribution to improve marketing efforts and fulfill client business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and maintain our social marketing calendar, including identifying important dates and events, and aligning our content accordingly.
- Execute social media publishing strategies through a content editorial calendar, ensuring that all posts are accurate, punctual, safe, and on-brand
- Develop tactics, plans, partnerships, and tools that help achieve business goals
- Create original content tailored for each platform, including but not limited to images, videos, GIFS, and copy.
- Collaborate with internal creative team to provide direction and design original posts, as needed.
- Work with internal teams to brainstorm on-brand, culturally relevant content ideas and campaigns (paid and organic).
- Perform research on market/ cultural/ platform trends and audience preferences.
- Use social listening tools to understand consumer sentiment, content themes for brand, competitive and industry analyses
- Seek out strategic partnership opportunities through our library of existing and future partners to deliver business goals
- Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
- Ability to collect, analyze, and use social data to inform and drive change
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of social media and digital experience at an interactive, advertising, public relations/communications, or other marketing agency
- Experience concepting, delivering and executing social media programs for leading consumer brands (automotive or luxury experience is a plus) including social media, content marketing, and paid social media
- A content marketing strategy mindset that looks beyond the day-to-day social media posts, with the ability to marry social media strategy with a brand’s attitude, tone & voice in ways that build valuable and long-lasting relationships with the brand’s target consumers
- Understand basic research techniques and methodologies and use them to support development/execution of client campaigns
- Driven by an avid curiosity that will help identify the next evolution of consumer behaviors on social media, as well as emerging community platforms and first-mover opportunities with existing platforms
- Possess a proven knowledge of major and emerging social channels, the specific rules of engagement for brands/advertisers on each as well as general platform policies
- Must have active accounts across key social media sites including, but not limited to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn
- Has established an understanding of digital in the marketing space (social, paid media, analytics, UGC, influencers, third-party listening) as well as having demonstrated proficiency with online tracking methodologies and measurement best practices
- Excellent project management, problem solving, interpersonal, client, presentation and written/verbal communication skills
- A keen eye for detail, proactive disposition and process driven
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Collaborative team player able to integrate with a diverse, talented agency team and the interpersonal skills needed to foster and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, platform representatives, etc.

Compensation Range: $79,990 - 120,450 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
