Position Overview :
As the Fabrication Leader, you will oversee and manage the entire steel parts fabrication process, including stamping, welding, shear / punch forming, and more. You will lead a team responsible for the production of large-scale steel components for a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing. This is a senior leadership position where you will be responsible for ensuring world-class performance in all aspects of manufacturing, from production planning to quality assurance and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership and Strategy :
Lead and manage the steel fabrication operations for high-volume parts production, including stamping, welding, and shear / punch forming.
Oversee all aspects of production scheduling, ensuring the timely delivery of millions of steel parts without compromising on quality or safety.
Ensure the highest standards of quality control for all parts fabricated, with a focus on precision, durability, and adherence to industry certifications and standards.
Manage budgets for the fabrication department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and maintaining cost control over all production processes.
Stay current with the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies, including automation, robotics, and digital fabrication tools, to improve production capabilities.
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing industry safety standards, ensuring all team members are trained on safety procedures.
Qualifications :
Proven track record of leading large-scale steel fabrication operations with extensive experience in stamping, welding, and shear / punch forming (at least 10 years of experience in parts fabrication or similar manufacturing processes).
Excellent leadership skills with a strong ability to build, motivate, and manage high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of stamping, welding, shear / punch forming technologies and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.) are a plus.
