POSITION DESCRIPTION :
The Engagement Leader is a critical interface between senior client leadership and our consulting team and generally acts as the senior account executive. The Engagement Leader is accountable for overall quality delivery and client satisfaction for contracted services, including :
- Translating the Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables into work-plan with supporting methodologies
- Driving timely delivery of stated activities and deliverables outlined in the SOW
- Building strong relationships while ensuring project objectives are met within scope, budget and timeline
- Promoting production adoption
- Driving retention and growth
- Serving as the primary face to the client on behalf of the firm
- Leveraging the Firm’s methodologies and frameworks to support client delivery
QUALIFICATIONS :
A minimum of 5 years of experience leading management consulting engagements for a top-tier firm like Boston Consulting Group, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Deloitte etc.Proven track record of successfully delivering complex consulting engagements, driving strategic impact, and achieving tangible results.Expertise in IT Management and how IT organizations are structured and financed to deliver enterprise value.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex problems, and craft innovative solutionsExperience in business development, including client relationship management and the ability to generate new opportunities.Strong experience with Client facing with CIO’s and C-Suite executives.Advanced degrees such as an MBA or PhD. from a reputable institution preferred.RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Management : Building and nurturing client relationships is a critical aspect of the role. The Engagement Leader has exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach. The Engagement Leader will actively listen to client needs and establish themselves as a trusted advisor for the entire IT Leadership Team. Cultivating long-term, collaborative partnerships is a key responsibility, especially with client executive leadership.
Program / Project Delivery & Governance : Oversee the lifecycle of projects / programs from initiation through to closure, ensuring they adhere to high standards of quality, are delivered on time, and within budget. Implement governance frameworks that enhance project predictability and effectiveness. Facilitate steering and operational committee meetings to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. A successful Engagement Leader is adept at always keeping the client’s objectives, delivery quality, and scope / budget at the top of mind.Leadership and Team Management : Strong leadership skills are crucial for our Engagement Leader. Lead, mentor and build teams, setting clear expectations, removing obstacles, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, whether that is our consultants or client special committees. Effective communication and coaching abilities are essential, and because we are a small, nimble team, the Engagement Leader is a hands-on contributor to client delivery.Maintaining & Applying Industry Expertise : Our Engagement Leader leverages industry knowledge, the Company’s methodologies and expertise in IT operating models and functional operations. They continually refresh their understanding of the Company’s frameworks, industry trends, emerging technologies, challenges, and opportunities, enabling them to provide valuable insights and strategic guidance to clients.Strategic Thinking, Problem-Solving and Deliverables Creation : The Engagement Leader possesses strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, and is skilled at framing complex business problems, developing innovative solutions, and crafting actionable recommendations. The Engagement Leader is ultimately accountable for the content and quality of our Company’s deliverables drafted by the consulting team. This is a contract position for 6-12 months with potential for permanent and is a remote-based position with 30% travel anticipated. 35-hour work week.
