Position Summary

RBCI is seeking an Project Manager to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Acquisition & Logistics (OAL) with a full range of management consulting services, including strategic, operation, and tactical support, to modernize, optimize, integrate, and transform the OAL organization and operations in the areas of workforce modernization, data and performance management, enterprise business architecture, business processes, change management, communications strategy, culture management, and other related areas by developing integrated processes and procedures to support the OAL Acquisition Management Program (AMP) across the OAL organization. This effort will include providing support for initiatives that lead to OAL-wide adoption and implementation of the solution, ultimately giving OAL the support to achieve its vision.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks requiring management of a small-scale project encompassing multiple tasks with a total lifecycle budget and complexity comparable to the task order at hand.
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives in accordance with the customer's technical requirements.
  • Compile and analyze technical data.
  • Advise VA management and customers on complex system projects and activities.
  • Work closely with customers to define communication systems and equipment requirements.
  • Provide instruction on, perform, and document quality assurance reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10 years' experience managing and evaluating organizational improvement initiatives.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience with Government.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification required.
  • Preferably Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification or similar.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and self-driven.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
