Senior Network Engineer

Job Description

The Senior Network Engineer position is a critical role within our organization, tasked with overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our complex network infrastructure. This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our network, facilitating seamless communication and data transfer for our operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing/maintaining/monitoring all RB WAN/LAN networks including managing RB’s routing, switching, wireless, SDN, and SD-WAN deployments.
• All RB’s shared cloud networking services including VPCs, VNets, and VCNs for all four of RB’s cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI. This includes all existing components such as AWS Transit Gateway, Azure Virtual WAN, GCP’s Cloud Network Connectivity Center, and Oracle’s Dynamic Routing Gateway.
• Deploy automation to RB Network environments, leveraging expertise in tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, CISCO DNA-C, CISCO Prime, and CISCO NSO.
• Network Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network issues in on-prem, cloud, and remote site environments.
• Monitoring and Logging: set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
