The Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Weekend Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team on Saturdays and Sundays from 7AM - 3PM. In this role, you will ensure our linens and towels are cleaned, dried, and folded to the highest standards, contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.
*This position involves using a large onsite ironing press machine (*Must be 18 years of age or older to operate this machine).

Job Description:
The Laundry attendant is primarily responsible for daily operation of Laundry functions, ensuring proper work procedures are followed and supply levels are maintained. Responsibility extends to working condition of equipment, preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal usage of resources.
These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operate commercial washers and dryers to launder linens, towels, and other items.
- Sort, fold, and organize cleaned laundry.
- Inspect items for stains or damage, treating them as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.
- Follow safety guidelines and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Work with team to wash banquet linens and communicate with banquet management team
- Assist staff with daily laundry operations
- Help stock floors with supplies
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to - 25 pounds without assistance
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Ability to work well on a team
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
