What you will be doing :
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management
Conduct inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues in a timely manner
Repair or replace appliances, fixtures, and equipment as needed
Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and inventory of supplies
Perform general maintenance for all residential rental properties, hallways, buildings, and common areas
Participate in after-hours emergency on-call maintenance rotation as required
Utilize equipment properly and safely
Maintain general knowledge of fair housing rules and regulations (training provided)
Report to supervisor any pertinent resident or property issues or concerns
Experience you will need :
Prior experience in maintenance or related field
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and customer service skills
Ability to follow directions and learn quickly
Must be proficient and comfortable with computer, tablet, and smartphone technology
