What you will be doing :
Manage the agency's larger client base and key client accounts.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 3 commercial account managers and 4 commercial assistants.
Serve as the Commercial Department Manager on the company EOS committee.
Act as the primary contact for the commercial department with insurance carrier relationships.
Experience you will need :
At least 10 years of commercial insurance service experience in an agency or with a carrier or MGA.
Prefer experience in both middle market and small commercial, across all lines of business.
At least 3 years of management experience leading others on a commercial insurance team or in a department.
Strength in managing teams and departments, including mentoring, leading, and training.
Valid Minnesota Insurance license or the ability to acquire one.
