Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate single or multiple spindle screw machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms.
- Install collets, bushings, and stock pushers in the stock-feeding mechanism.
- Adjust cams, gears, and stops to control stock and tool movements at each station.
- Position and secure tools in tool holders, verifying positions with gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Operate the machine through its cycle, stopping it and adjusting tool positions and machine controls as needed.
