As a machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC spindle screw machines to perform turning, boring, threading, and facing operations on metal bar stock. Your duties will include:
- Setting up and operating single or multiple spindle screw machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms.
- Installing and adjusting cams, gears, and stops to control stock and tool movements.
- Positioning and securing tools in tool holders, verifying their positions with precision measuring instruments.
- Verifying conformance to specifications using plug and ring gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
