Principal Responsibilities
- Establish and attains sales goals on a monthly/quarterly/annual and long-term basis.
- Perform market research and analysis to define the market and opportunity for divisional segment growth. Monitor and report market trends and needs.
- Presentation at regular operations meetings of critical metrics such as booking rates, delivery rates, forecast adjustments, quotation activity, and order backlog, new business opportunity and progress, stock availability and booking trend.
- Provide data to prepare, update forecasts covering projected new business sales, bookings, proposal activity/costs by customer and program.
- Develop marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified customers and opportunities with defined objectives, goals, strategies, schedules and action assignments.
- Deliver results in accordance with said plans – obtain new business and manage existing business to meet company business objectives.
- Monitor and report on the activities of competitors and supply channels.
- Work closely with Customer Service function to insure proper forecast and order management, and quote accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with Sales to engage with customers as needed in support of business development and sustainment.
- Work with Product Management in support of Line Item and product line forecasts, for authorization on pricing and margin relative to their respective product responsibilities, and for alignment with their product line strategies and objectives.
- Work with other functional areas within the division and company to insure the allocation of resources to support customer needs and activities, segment goals and business objectives.
- Government specific responsibilities:
- Maintain API’s cage code with Government
- Receive and respond to Govt solicitations in Govt systems
- Work with Govt on deliveries of open contracts
- Work with RBC Accounting on Accounts Receivable issues
- Produce SAR packages for new government business
Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better in Business Administration
