What are the responsibilities and job description for the Belt Assembler position at RBC?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Uses hand tools to assemble belts following the product specifications.
- Able to handle and assemble small components in relation to the belts
- Tests parts to meet specifications.
- Identifies parts that fail the tests and repairs as necessary.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher‐level staff.
- Ability to multitask if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- High school diploma, and 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Computer skills.
- Manual dexterity.
