POSITION SUMMARY
Gain hands on Manufacturing Engineer experience in a cutting edge aerospace manufacturing environment in Westminster, SC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize 3D printing, CNC Routing and other manufacturing techniques to complete projects
Coordinate with tool room to design, fabricate, test and implement tooling and fixturing on the shop floor
Work closely with manufacturing & production groups to resolve technical problems
Work with manufacturing to reduce cost and improve the manufacturability of products
Maintain positive employee relations
Perform machine capability studies
Work with manufacturing to improve facility layouts to optimize efficiency
Coordinate and manage projects as assigned by Engineering Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated use of Catia V5, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
Basic knowledge of Design for Manufacturing
Strong communication-both verbal and written
Knowledge of blue print reading, machining, tool design, product testing, project management and SPC
Additional skills desired: cost analysis, facilities layout, plant/facilities engineering, pneumatics, process control SPC, budget management, and project management
Must have completed a minimum of three (3) semesters in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
