What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Clerk - 1st Shift position at RBC?
Summary: Batch and prepare Pick tickets and packing lists. Applying proper paperwork to the correct customer orders. Corresponding to customer service with requests, inquiries, changes, and special instructions. Billing, invoicing, and filing all customer orders based on company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare documents, such as Pick tickets, packing lists, Invoices, Certificate of Conformance, etc.
- Record shipment data, such as shipment type, Tracking or PRO numbers, weights, and Quantity of Boxes, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
- Run reports to verify shipping documents, negative quantities, changes, etc.
- Locate and attach proper documentation to customer orders
- Bill and invoice customer orders with shipment details.
- Confer and correspond with Customer Service to update orders or rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
- Organize customer orders in the filing system based on corporate document storage procedures
Person must be able to work with and communicate easily and effectively with employees at all levels in the plant. It is expected that the person will work when needed to insure production is met. This work can be both during the week and on weekends.
SHIFT: 1st (10:00 am – 6:00 pm)
