Sr. Industrial Engineer

Principal Responsibilities 

• Conduct time studies, value stream mapping, and process analysis to identify areas for improvement, design and implement solutions to optimize production flow and eliminate waste. 
• Analyze production capacity, forecast demand, and optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient production scheduling and meet delivery deadlines. 
• Lead cross-functional teams in executing large-scale improvement projects, including budget management, timeline adherence, and risk mitigation. 
• Utilize data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and measure the impact of process improvements. 
• Identify opportunities to reduce production costs through process optimization, material utilization, and equipment efficiency. 
• Champion lean principles like continuous improvement, 5S, and Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory management within the manufacturing environment. 
• Evaluate and implement automation technologies to enhance productivity and reduce manual labor. 
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel on new processes and methodologies. 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field and 7 years of experience is desired or any combination of education, years of experience or equivalent experience which would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required to the satisfaction of the manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong understanding of production processes and lean methodologies 
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools 
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and reporting 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 
• Ability to lead and influence others to achieve organizational goals 
• Experience with simulation software and advanced manufacturing technologies is a plus
