Richmond Behavioral Health is actively seeking dedicated PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our dynamic Medication Assisted Opioid Treatment Program . The selected candidate will perform essential nursing duties, including :
- Assessing and evaluating clients, collecting vital signs and specimens, and monitoring patient responses to treatment.
- Collaborating with the pharmacist to manage and prepare medications for patient distribution, ensuring compliance and safety.
- Participating in diversion control efforts and documenting results accurately in patient records.
- Administering medications and injections under supervision while closely observing patients.
- Assisting with triage and crisis intervention to provide immediate care when necessary.
- Drawing blood and processing laboratory specimens.
- Consulting with healthcare teams on patient care plans and medication orders.
- Maintaining accurate patient records using electronic health systems.
- Preparing supply orders and tracking inventory to ensure readiness.
- Participating in naloxone training to reverse opioid overdose as needed.
- Attending required meetings, training sessions, and seminars.
