Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our North Campus Residential Treatment Programs team at the Richmond Behavioral Health Authority.
Your role will involve providing intermediate care and treatment to clients, managing medications, administering injections, obtaining lab specimens, preparing and maintaining records, and more.
- Obtain and review pertinent medical data to ensure accurate treatment plans.
- Administer injections, immunizations, and medications under supervision.
- Assist physicians with tasks and provide support to case managers and pharmacies.
- Draw blood, urine, and other laboratory specimens for analysis.
- Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A current LPN license from the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Graduation from a state-accredited practical nurse education program.
- Modest experience working as a practical nurse in a behavioral health setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
As a member of our team, you can expect:
- Evening and overnight shifts available.
- One weekend per month rotation.
- Full-time or part-time positions available.
