Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Foreman will ensure that all systems are compliant with safety regulations and function effectively to protect lives and property.

Duties

• Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and schematics.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair and replace malfunctioning components of fire sprinkler systems as needed.
• Assemble and maintain piping systems, ensuring proper alignment and support.
• Utilize power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to complete installations and repairs.
• Read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and manuals.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure efficient project completion.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while working on-site.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
• Experience with the use of power tools is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Familiarity with pipeline assembly techniques and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and understand schematics related to fire protection systems.
• Experience using hand tools safely and effectively in a variety of environments.
• Previous experience in fire protection and State Fire Marshal Fitter Card is mandatory.
• Must have clean driving records to use Company provided vehicles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
