Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Manager of Financial Systems will support RBmedia’s growth goals, maintain financial system data integrity, work with business units around the world, and deliver meaningful insights to business leaders. The Manager of Financial Systems will work closely with our internal Information Technology team to guide the evolution of tools and systems to enhance RBmedia's financial reporting and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial reporting and business intelligence as well as experience/understanding of full lifecycle BI delivery from a technology standpoint.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, create, and deliver impactful operational reports, dashboards, and visualizations while managing the technical configuration of multiple reporting platforms
- Provide guidance to management on Data and BI solution progress, suggesting improvements as necessary, and managing customer expectations.
- Identify and implement Data Management and BI leading practices with a keen focus on efficient, scalable, and cost-effective solutions
- Establish and oversee a robust quality assurance process for any BI/Data solutions implemented
- Diagnose and resolve reporting, dashboard, and analytic-level issues in collaboration with analysts, developers, and engineers
- Create and implement data pipelines, managing the extraction, transformation, and loading of data to standardize data and enable Enterprise KPIs
- Proficiently analyze the breakdown and transformation of large datasets, extracting valuable insights from diverse data stores.
- Support the annual budget processand monthly forecasting
- Work in RBmedia ERP system (NetSuite)
- Participate in cross-functional business projects and analyses
- Identify and drive business processimprovement
- Examine key performance indicators, looking for opportunities and risks
- Support implementation of new budgeting and financial reporting applications
- Other duties as assigned and required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field required
- Understanding of GAAP account and financial Statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated full lifecycle BI delivery skills including documenting use cases, developing BI reports/dashboards, testing solutions, and supporting optimizing production operations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with anybody in the organization from business stakeholders to technical SMEs
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Collaborative and strong communication
Compensation & Location:
The compensation for this role is very competitive and RBmedia offers a full suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off and more. RBmedia is headquartered in Landover, MD. The company operates on a hybrid model, and employees go into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
