What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Manager position at RBP?
Manager of a portion of the Buying team charged with procuring both third party (3P) and exclusive brand (EB) finished goods for our stores, including hands-on management of select brands/categories. Monitor inventory levels and turns, exercising stock rotations as needed. Drive cost savings and cost avoidance through strategic buys and negotiating better pricing and payment terms. Assist in overseeing the systematic implementation of pricing and promotions, as well as programmatic and promotionally driven vendor debiting.

- Management of vendor relationships
- Sourcing, negotiation and contract management
- Mix development, ordering and inventory maintenance
- Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Accounting
- Team management and people development
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Experience managing a team responsible for purchasing/buying
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Sourcing, negotiation and contract management experience

- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills with all levels of employees and management
- Extensive knowledge and relevant experience within multiple CEDIA, Commercial and Security product categories.
- Self-motivated and excellent negotiation skills

- Team management experience and good leadership to drive team performance
