RBR-Technologies is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Software Developer to support one of our customers in Maryland. The candidate will support DCSA Industrial Security technology modernization through delivering data analytic services that will integrate with existing application development to enhance and extract insights from specific commercial and government data in a ServiceNow environment. The capability delivered by the RBR-Technologies team will enable users of the system to upload commercial and government data extracts in the form of xlsx, pdf, or csv documents, parse and ingest that data, and then provide the ability for users to view and/or manipulate data. Some of the responsibilities associated with the position include:
- Serve as the ServiceNow application developer responsible for implementing solution design using best industry practices
- Facilitate requirements gathering and document requirements
- Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflow, policies, actions, access control, interfaces, and any other configurations required to support client processes
- Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the team lead
- Develop JavaScript server/client code
- Create and use update sets and XMLs to move customer configuration and data between environments
- Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis
- Participate in discovery sessions and process definitions with team lead and other developers
- Lead efforts and provide guidance in requirements gathering and developing/documenting process workflows
- Develop ServiceNow solutions and push developments from DEV to TEST to PROD using Agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and 7 years of work experience, Masters Degree and 5 years of work experience, or 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 years of direct development experience with the ServiceNow platform that includes scoped application development ITSM, ITOM and ITAM
- 3 years of experience designing and developing ServiceNow process workflows
- 3 years of experience configuring and customizing all aspect of ServiceNow - UI Actions, UI Policy, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Email Scripts, Roles / Groups.
- 3 years of experience with importing and exporting data to ServiceNow using data loads, transform maps and XMLs.
- Security Certification for Privileged Access
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Security Certification or ability to obtain Security within 60 days on Contract
