Position Summary:
The Reno Helper/Laborer plays a critical role in supporting pool renovation and aftercare projects. This position involves cleaning job sites, maintaining new plaster surfaces, and assisting with various construction tasks such as plumbing, demolition, and concrete work. The ideal candidate is a hands-on team player with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to quality work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and haul debris from job sites during and after projects.
- Perform acid washing of decks and coping.
- Brush and maintain new plaster surfaces.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry, including administering chemicals.
- Assist with small plumbing, demolition, and concrete work.
- Conduct tile and stone repairs as needed.
- Communicate with customers regularly and professionally.
- Work some Saturdays as required (no overnight travel).
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to envision completed projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in pool construction, renovations, or a related industry (training available for the right candidate).
- Experience with construction tools, materials, and techniques.
Education and Training:
- Relevant job site experience or willingness to learn on the job.
