RBW Logistics is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to optimize our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will analyze workflows within and across all branches to improve efficiency. This role involves applying statistical analysis, designing efficient systems, and utilizing problem-solving skills to implement cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement systems and processes to streamline operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
- Analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout, and implement changes to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
- Develop performance metrics and measurement systems to monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including warehouse, transportation, and supply chain management to integrate logistics with company processes.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive process improvements.
- Conduct capacity planning and provide solutions for production optimization.
- Prepare process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Implement cost reduction measures in various aspects of logistics processes and operations.
- Oversee the installation of machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines.
- Assess the effectiveness of changes made and refine systems based on feedback and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or a similar role within logistics or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of process improvement techniques such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Proficient in the use of CAD software and other engineering tools for designing and analyzing workflow.
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel).
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively manage projects and work with teams across departments.
- Certified in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related field is a plus.

Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
