Are you passionate about providing patient service through quality and convenient care? Iowa Dermatology Clinic (IDC) and RC Dermatology Clinic (RCD) is looking for talented individuals to join our amazing team!
IDC/RCD is hiring a Mohs Histology Technician - Float.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Tissue preparation and processing
- Frozen sectioning
- Tissue staining
- Documentation and quality control following CLIA regulations
- Equipment maintenance
- Surgery room setup
- Prep patient for procedure/surgery
- Assist Physician during Mohs surgery at multiple RC Dermatology clinic locations throughout Iowa
- Patient education on postoperative care
- Other duties as assigned

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT?
- Prior experience working in a medical setting required
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a Mohs Surgery or other surgical setting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
