We are seeking a competitive and highly motivated Sales individual to expand our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing aggressive sales strategies to increase territory growth. This role demands strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convert potential leads into new clients. The position reports directly to RC&E's Sales Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate the value of the highly skilled labor force that RC&E provides in three key areas: (1) Annual Planned Maintenance Agreements, (2) Emergency repairs, (3) System retrofits and upgrades.
- Utilize the Kelvin Estimating Template for all cost estimating. Adhere to all Deal Desk/Deal Scoring criteria set forth by Kelvin Group.
- Utilize Salesforce (CRM) software in a disciplined manner to maintain a multistage funnel capable of delivering sales targets.
- Customer Visits – Develop customer visit schedule and meet with existing customers on routine basis. Coordinate with service schedule to be at customer site during PM visits.
Target Customers – Assist in the development of a list of target service accounts to bring in new customers.- Attend local and regional association meetings to build brand awareness.
- Assist the VP of Service and service managers, when requested or as needed in resolving service customer problems or issues.
Candidate must have worked in the HVAC/R or Industrial Refrigeration industry as a service technician or service salesperson for 5 years. An education from an HVAC/R or Industrial refrigeration trade school is a plus. The individual should have strong technical and mechanical knowledge of industrial or commercial refrigeration systems, including ammonia, freon, or CO2 systems. The individual should also possess problem solving skills to identify client refrigeration issues and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience selling to industrial clients.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling.
- Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
