Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain a variety of flooring types in commercial facilities, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile.
• Prepare and level surfaces before flooring installation to ensure a smooth, durable finish.
• Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials with precision to minimize waste and ensure a seamless appearance.
• Conduct inspections to assess the condition of existing floors and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
• Coordinate with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; advanced vocational training or certification in flooring installation preferred.
• At least three years of experience in commercial flooring installation and repair.
• Extensive knowledge of different flooring materials, installation techniques, and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret flooring plans and blueprints.
• Comprehensive completion of safety training programs specific to flooring work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina to handle demanding tasks.
