Job Summary:
We currently have openings for the Maintenance Technician role here at RC Management! We are an established property management company looking for skilled individuals to handle simple to complex maintenance tasks in our growing portfolio of rental properties. This position offers you the opportunity to showcase your expertise in proper maintenance and general upkeep of residential properties. As a Maintenance Technician, you will pride yourself on ensuring the continued functionality of our properties and reputation.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventative maintenance.
- Utilize technology to track work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in handling various aspects of property maintenance, such as single- and multi-unit repairs (e.g. drywall repair, electrical repairs, plumbing, limited framing)
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing maintenance requests and inquiries in a way you'd be proud of.
- Showcase leadership skills by effectively coordinating with team members and staff on various projects.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders. Bi-lingual is a plus.
- The knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently with little oversight.
- The professionalism to interact with tenants and address their maintenance needs.
- Leadership abilities to coordinate tasks, prioritize assignments, and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Experience with carpentry, plumbing, drywall and painting and other general to advanced tasks, such as conducting electrical repairs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with task management systems for streamlined maintenance operations.
- Prior experience in carpentry is a plus.
