What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer/Construction Worker position at RC Mobile Home Service & Transport?
Work demand requires we grow our company, we are looking for hard working individual's that would like to join our year-round team. Pay DOE and requires 35-40 hours a week. Entry level position , but can move up rapidly with motivation and good work ethics. This position requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and excellent driving skills. Individual needs to have the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs repetitively. The best candidate for this position will be able to cover a wide range of duties including general and final phase home construction, plumbing, stocking warehouse, customer service, and light maintenance. We do not require previous experience but construction and plumbing knowledge is helpful. If you have a willing positive attitude and enjoy working in the outdoors this job is for you!.
Perform various tasks in an outdoor , including but not limited to:
- Loading and unloading materials
- Sorting and organizing inventory
- Operating hand tools and power tools as needed
- Assisting with general maintenance and cleanup
- Assisting leveling prefabricated buildings
- Install plumbing on prefabricated buildings
- Completing final phase construction of prefabricated buildings
Experience:
- Previous experience with framing, trim work, painting, block laying, utility & plumbing work, various construction duties
- Previous experience with plumbing utilities
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to work on roofs and walk up and down ladders
- Ability to lift 50lbs
